Poetry reading June 19

Hedgerow poet Maya Janson will read June 19, 7 pm, at Broadside Bookshop, 247 Main Street in Northampton MA. Maya will be running the poetry panel at this year’s WriteAngles conference. David Rivard writes about Montaigne Medal finalist Janson’s work, “Wide-open love of the world and its mad inhabitants is one of the holiest of the heart’s affections – what you get in Murmur & Crush – total acceptance of the as-is world, seduced into being by that beautiful tag team, Bemusement and Sorrow.” Also reading on Wednesday evening will be Anne Love Woodhull whose Night With Its Owl is also published by Hedgerow.
