We have nearly completed preparations for our WriteAngles conference this fall.  Our program is set and we have invited many fine panelists and workshop leaders. All that remains is to complete our lineup of literary agents and to decide on the exact date on which we will begin accepting registrations, which will be sometime in early September. We have finalized our program and are proud of this year’s offerings. As usual we’ve tried our best to balance craft and practical concerns with inspirational topics and to cover a number of genres, both those that are ever-popular along with some we’ve missed over the past several years.

As soon as we’ve lined up every last panelist (we’re almost there), we’ll list their names under each panel.

We’ve heard so many good things about last year’s agent panel format that we decided to repeat it this year. We will read aloud selections from one-page writing samples from conference attendees and then ask the agents to give their immediate responses. Some people said they didn’t know what to do with their samples at last year’s conference, so we decided to ask everyone to email them to our committee in advance this year.
